Governor Henry McMaster signed a new state law today that requires children under 12 riding in golf carts on public streets and highways to be buckled up.

The law also lets local governments set golf cart rules (such as limiting where carts can operate) and requires drivers to be 16 or older (with a valid driver’s license).

A nonprofit is repurposing an old school building in Conway to offer new support for people with addiction.
