103-year-old Florrie Cuttino recalled her days learning at the Myrtle Beach Colored School when she toured the museum built to honor limited school opportunities in 1932.
Funded partly by over $300K from City Council and built over 20 years, the museum now hosts educational events.

The Spring Home Show is this weekend at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, offering home upgrade ideas & advice from local contractors.

North Myrtle Beach completed a $36 million, 90-acre expansion that doubled baseball/softball fields from 6 to 12 and added five soccer fields, freshwater ponds, walking trails and picnic shelters.
Local officials say the upgrade will boost annual revenue from $2 million to $3 million and has already attracted 70+ teams.
