  • The 19th Annual RiverTown Reindeer Run will be held Saturday, December 6 at 8:00 a.m. along a tree-lined route in historic downtown Conway—starting at the Conway Marina and looping back to the Marina. An untimed 1-mile run/walk begins at 8:05 a.m.—participants will receive a shirt and bib, and proceeds will be donated to local charities.  WFXB Fox TV

BUSINESS NEWS

  • Myrtle Beach International Airport expanded Concourse A by adding six new gates, upgraded restrooms, flooring, signage and concessions in a project that cost over 100+ million dollars with federal+ state funds. Officials said leftover money will be used for other airport projects and future upgrades in TSA, baggage claim and runway work as the new gates open to flyers this month.  WPDE

  • Coastal Carolina University fired head coach Tim Beck after three seasons in which he posted a 20-18 record—including an 8-5 finish with a bowl win in 2023—and Defensive Coordinator Jeremiah Johnson will serve as interim coach while the school conducts a national search for a permanent replacement.  WFXB Fox TV
