- ➤ Matt Doda held his solo gig at Neal’s Creekhouse in Murrells Inlet on Nov. 5 from 4-8 p.m.—he played hit songs from the 1970s through the 1990s that kept the crowd engaged. The Post and Courier
- ➤ Myrtle Beach ACT will perform Shrek on November 21st and November 22nd—Bear and Noah of the local children’s theatre explained the production and urged locals to get tickets. WFXB Fox TV
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Horry County Schools announced the 2025-26 Teacher of the Year nominees for each school in the district—one educator will be selected in spring after further evaluations. My Horry News
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Yesterday, the City announced a 31,000 square-foot expansion for the Aquatic and Fitness Center that adds a new fitness room, aerobics room, updated locker rooms, a gymnasium and youth spaces — the project will serve over 5,200 members. The center is offering a promotion that waives the annual joining fee for new memberships from Nov. 3 through Nov. 15 to celebrate its 20th anniversary. WPDE
