Bryan Floyd Recreation Center—where people will enjoy pickleball, music, entertainment and a groundbreaking ceremony for the new complex—and a contest that offers a chance to win $50 from Badass Coffee of Hawaii and two tickets. - ➤ Ripley's Aquarium of Myrtle Beach will host a free trunk—or-treat event on Saturday from 5—7 pm at the aquarium plaza where guests can dress in costumes, collect candy, and dance to festive tunes. - ➤ South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson sent a letter urging the Department of Commerce to transfer red snapper fisheries management to coastal states—he said states can gather fish data and set local rules more effectively and coordinated the push with Florida and Georgia. The letter calls for state-led Experimental Fishing Permits and emergency regulations to maintain continuity during the change. WPDE
