  • On Friday evening, Myrtle Beach Public Works crews repaired an eight‐inch sewer force main near 76th Avenue North and Briarwood Drive after stump‐pulling at a nearby construction site caused the break — officials reported no service issues for residents while Verizon and DC Blox outages were monitored and spillage into the stormwater system was contained before the area was disinfected.  WPDE

  • Spirit Airlines filed for bankruptcy protection for the second time in less than a year, and Myrtle Beach International Airport said it expects minor schedule adjustments and the termination of its Hartford route.
