  • Conway officials said two groups vandalized Halloween decorations near the Riverwalk and warned residents and visitors to be watchful as displays may continue to be targeted.  WMBF News

CULTURE NEWS

  • Boardwalk Comic Con is in Myrtle Beach this weekend with celebrity guests — Matthew Wood and Eddie McClintock — drawing fans and vendors; organizers say the event will return yearly for more star appearances.  WPDE
  • Comic Con debuted at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center on Saturday and Sunday—over 150 vendors, artists, guests, and cosplayers gathered for pop culture fun that included a children's cosplay contest, a vintage video game room, and a virtual reality experience. Officials said the event will be held annually at the center.  WPDE
