- ➤ Drone footage captured the aftermath of the fire at a Conway train depot in Horry County and rescue crews were on scene while officials secured the area—reporting that a section of Highway 905 was shut down during the incident. WMBF News

- ➤ Gabrielle is strengthening this morning and shows two more chances for development in the Atlantic—four people were taken to hospital after a crash on Highway 905 in Horry County while police searched for an armed robbery suspect from a Dollar General incident in Marion. Authorities looked for a missing man last seen swimming near Sandy Island, responded to a fire at a Conway train depot that closed part of Highway 905, and forecast a warm, dry start with rain chances later in the week. - ➤ Horry County Fire and Rescue broke ground on a new 9700 square foot fire station in Finklea in the Loris area on Sept.10, replacing the old 7000 square foot station along Highway 9 Business. McDowell Construction of Myrtle Beach won the 4 million dollar contract and officials said the station will be completed in Sept.2026. My Horry News

- ➤ Officials will review an incentive plan at today's Myrtle Beach City Council workshop to discuss a builder's proposal for a $230 million oceanfront timeshare resort and parking garage on 23rd Avenue North. If passed, the developer will have five years from the building permit issuance to redeem a voucher credit that may reimburse up to $2 million in fees — a measure addressing a 300% rise in construction rates.
