- ➤ Traffic was blocked on Postal Way and Orchard Drive in Carolina Forest on Sept. 6 after a four-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle — three people were taken to the hospital and one signed a medical transport waiver as investigators work to determine the cause. WPDE

- ➤ Breeze Airways announced its new flight from Myrtle Beach International to New Orleans with one-way fares beginning at $59—service will run twice a week on Thursday and Sunday. The Post and Courier

- ➤ Coastal Carolina Chanticleers won their home opener against the Charleston Southern Buccaneers yesterday, shutting out the opponents 13-0. Most of the scoring came in the fourth quarter with a four-yard touchdown by Tad Hudson and a late field goal to clinch the win. WMBF News
