The Waves of Praise Gospel Fest held last Saturday at Burroughs and Chapin Pavilion Place united Myrtle Beach residents with soulful sounds from quartets, choirs, rap and contemporary gospel while attendees donated nonperishable items to local food banks—promoter Reggie Dyson said the event built community spirit.
