- ➤ At around 2:30 a.m. today, a shooting occurred off Circle Heights Drive in the Green Sea area that injured two people, one critically and the other with non-life-threatening injuries, and police said they are investigating the incident and that there is no risk to the community. WPDE

Nancy Mace held her first campaign town hall at Veterans Cafe and Grill in Myrtle Beach on Aug. 6, saying that Horry County is key to changing state leadership—support at the local level is needed for real reform.
