- ➤ Timoteo Sanchez, 26, was charged with attempted murder and weapon possession after firing shots during a parking dispute on July 30 in Myrtle Beach (police found bullet holes outside a trailer home on Ellington Street) and he fled before officers arrived. WPDE
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Netflix's Outer Banks will resume filming its fifth season on Aug. 14 at the Socastee Swing Bridge near Myrtle Beach. The production will close the bridge and a section of Dick Pond Road from 10 a.m. to about 8 p.m. — state officials arranged the schedule to avoid disrupting bus routes before school starts. - ➤ Conway City Council approved roughly $26,000 to purchase five water sensors that will be placed at the Riverwalk, Kingston Lake trestle, and in Crabtree Swamp areas—locations chosen for their flood risks.
