- ➤ On July 2 near North Myrtle Beach, rescue swimmers pulled an 18-year-old male from the water after two swimmers were reported struggling, and searchers resumed early Thursday morning to locate a missing 21-year-old male off 48th Avenue South — the Coast Guard led an aerial grid search. - ➤ Local police arrested Michael Lynn Gamble, 40, from Charleston after he stabbed a man in the stomach on Monday at 12:43 a.m. near 14th Avenue North on Myrtle Beach—Gamble is held at J. Reuben Long Detention Center on a $60,000 bond for first degree assault and battery. WPDE
