ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Conway police officer Sgt. Chris Johnson suffered significant injuries and lost his family's home when a fire broke out on Saturday in Aynor—he is receiving urgent medical care while officials investigate the cause. WPDE
- ➤ A woman died after jumping off a beached boat in the Little River area on Sunday, June 22, sustaining a head injury, and the SCDNR said it is investigating the possible accident. My Horry News
- ➤ On Sunday, June 15, an SUV traveling south on North Kings Highway crashed into Cafe Old Vienna—causing structural damage and prompting first responders to secure the scene while the driver received traffic tickets for unsafe mechanical conditions and driving without a license. My Horry News
- ➤ Sgt. Chris Johnson of Conway Police was severely injured in a fire at his Aynor home on June 21 — he sustained burns to over 50% of his body, was airlifted to a hospital in Georgia, and his home was completely destroyed while local fundraisers were organized to support his family. My Horry News

- ➤ Nyshawn Ralik Vontreal Doctor, 21 from Loris was arrested on Saturday on charges of weapon possession during a violent crime & discharging a firearm into a dwelling near the 2000 block of East Highway 9 after a shooting and vehicle crash, and he was released on $60,000 bond with no reported victims. - ➤ A judge set an $85,000 bond for 25-year-old Jaziah Taylor on Monday morning after he allegedly stabbed a man at a Myrtle Beach Speedway gas station along Mr. Joe White Avenue—Taylor is not allowed contact with the victim, who was taken to Grand Strand Medical Center and will remain hospitalized.
