  • The Raiqwon O'Neal Foundation held a football and cheer camp in Conway through Saturday — the camp provided athletic training, teamwork and leadership lessons to local players and cheerleaders, while NFL tackle Raiqwon O'Neal, a Conway native, urged youth to work hard and trust in faith.  WPDE

CRIME NEWS

  • A person was taken into custody after reported shootings at the 200 block of East Highway 9 led to a car crash off Highway 348 near Carrie Lane around 11:30 a.m. on Saturday—police said there is no known public risk.  WMBF News

CULTURE NEWS

  • Jason Cooper from Grand Strand Visuals found a tied-up pair of boots and a note in the attic of Build-A-Bear Workshop at Broadway at the Beach— the note links the boots to famed truss man Dave English and says his ghost will remain until they are returned. His social media call brought a tip from Katie Benson, who said her friend Dave’s daughter confirmed the boots were given as a joke, yet they remain in place.  WPDE
