- ➤ Horry County Council approved $10 million for a new YMCA aquatic center in Carolina Forest. The planned facility will feature a 50-meter pool and offer swim lessons and water rescue training for families + first responders, with the county covering 40 percent as the YMCA works to raise the remaining funds.
