- ➤ Michael Dean, a 70-year-old Myrtle Beach man, was killed when he shot into a Conway home on Sunmeadow Drive in Rivertown Row and the homeowner returned fire at 9:30 p.m. on May 21—police said the domestic incident is under investigation. The Post and Courier
- ➤ Horry County and Myrtle Beach police pursued an armed suspect in a stolen vehicle driving at excessive speeds on Thursday morning near Myrtle Beach+ the chase ended when the suspect crashed near 67th Avenue North and North US Highway 17 and four people were detained with no injuries reported. - ➤ A police chase began near The Market Common when officers tried to pull over a driver and ended in a two-car crash near Highway 17 Bypass and 67th Avenue North — sections of these roads were closed and reports indicate that two patients were involved, although it remains unclear if they were taken to the hospital.
