ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Three people were sent to the hospital after a school bus crashed in Conway—Horry County Fire Rescue reported the incident. WMBF News
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ A Myrtle Beach officer shot and killed an 18-year-old Bennettsville man after he allegedly fired into a crowd on Ocean Boulevard on April 26—11 others were injured and three officers were placed on paid leave as SLED began its investigation. The Post and Courier
- ➤ On April 25 at 10:40 p.m., deputies responded near Parkersville Road in the Pawleys Island area after a man suffered bullet wounds to his face and left ankle—a beating preceded the shooting—and the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident. WPDE
- ➤ Carolina Forest woman Alexandra Anna Bialousow appeared in court on March 7 charged with negligently allowing her fire pit blaze to spread during a burn ban—she is also charged with violating fire regulation on certain lands. WPDE

- ➤ Belin United Methodist will host its 29th annual Blessing of the Inlet on May 3 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The event will feature a blessing service at 10:00 a.m. at the Seawall Cross and a festive area with games, treats, and local craft vendors — details shared by Charlie Gudeman and Becky Hale.
