  • Conway police are searching for an armed man suspected of murder and ask anyone with information to contact them immediately.  WMBF News
  • On April 26, Myrtle Beach police responded to a disturbance on Ocean Boulevard that led an officer to fire his gun, fatally striking 18-year-old Jerrius Davis from Bennettsville and injuring 11 others, with three officers placed on paid leave as SLED began its investigation—residents still call for answers.  The Post and Courier
  • Myrtle Beach Mayor Brenda Bethune said the city remains safe after a fatal shooting on Ocean Blvd. Saturday that injured 11 and left one dead—she credited rapid police response and noted violent crime has dropped nearly 50 percent.  WPDE
