ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ The South Carolina Department of Environmental Services will launch its Beach Monitoring Program from May to October at local beaches, collecting water samples to test for Enterococci bacteria. If levels are high, officials will issue swim advisories to keep swimmers 200 feet from the sampling area while other beach activities continue. WPDE
