- ➤ Over 250 Horry County high school students visited the Dunes Golf and Beach Club Monday to learn about careers in the golf industry ahead of the ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic set for May 8-11 — teachers said the visit offered real-world insight into a PGA quality course that students rarely see in classrooms. - ➤ Horry-Georgetown Technical College announced a new eight‐week Drone Pilot Training course in partnership with the Unmanned Safety Institute that covers drone operations, safety rules, flight training, and certifications including FAA Part 107 and three USI credentials—this course is open to beginners, career changers, and STEM teachers while offering scholarship funding for students 18 and older.
