- ➤ The Myrtle Beach Food Truck and Music Festival attracted about 30,000 people this year with food trucks and live music performances. The event featured over 70 vendors and 55 food trucks offering Caribbean, soul food and seafood cuisines—marking its debut under a new name—after being known simply as the Food Truck Festival. WPDE

- ➤ On Sunday, two men were robbed of money, cell phones, and a safe at a house on Sunnyside Avenue in Murrells Inlet, and officers from the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office and Horry County Police are investigating the case—three suspects were involved, with one wielding a rifle and another a pistol—and a red Jeep Cherokee is being sought.
