  • Families can join SC’s Largest Easter Egg Hunt, held in Conway on Saturday, March 28 at Billy Gardner Sports Complex. The event provides 100,000 eggs with prizes, age-group hunts beginning at noon, a sensory-friendly hunt at 1 p.m.—and the Mayor’s Egg holds a special gift.  My Horry News

  • On March 23, Horry County Schools voted to buy nearly 61 acres along SC Highway 90 near the Thomas Road intersection outside Conway for $6.3 million to secure future facilities amid growing school overcrowding.  The Post and Courier

  • Horry County officials enacted a burn ban on Tuesday for unincorporated areas amid drought conditions that increase wildfire risk. The county boosted staffing and training to better manage potential fire outbreaks.  WMBF News

  • Conway leaders are reviewing plans for a 69-room hotel and restaurant at 320 Kingston St near the Riverwalk, with a design featuring brick and stucco accents and a public access alley for off-site valet parking – residents and city staff are weighing parking and traffic issues.  The Post and Courier
