ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Crews responded shortly after 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday when a 2-acre woods fire broke out near Loris; Horry County Fire Rescue (HCFR) is working to contain the blaze. WPDE

- ➤ This week the Horry County School Board approved a $6.3M deal to purchase about 60 acres along SC-90 near Bear Bluff Road for potential school expansion. One board member voiced concerns about the price gap, but due diligence revealed no major issues. WPDE

- ➤ Myrtle Beach officials warn that hitting golf balls into the ocean is illegal littering (it releases toxins that harm marine life) and may lead to fines up to $1,000. They urge beachgoers to dispose of trash properly. WPDE
