- ➤ Myrtle Beach City Government said that registration remains open for the Kids Run the Beach program, a running event for children ages 6 to 12 that teaches basic running skills through games and stretching at Crabtree Memorial Gym. The program will run from March 25 through May 10 on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. — it costs $15 for city residents and $30 for non-city residents. WPDE
- ➤ On Saturday, Horry County Police returned a roaming pet kangaroo to its home after finding it wandering in the area. WMBF News

- ➤ Today, Horry County Fire Rescue was dispatched at 2:54 p.m. to a debris fire on the 1800 block of Highway 90 near the Horry County Recycling Center/Landfill and contained the blaze—officials said smoke may continue until the fire is fully extinguished and no one was injured. WPDE
- ➤ Horry County Fire Rescue reported a commercial structure fire this morning near the 1000 block of Oakheart Road, and there was no structural damage. The incident was caused by a microwave that gave off an electrical burning odor — the Conway Fire Department assisted. WPDE
