- ➤ Invasive Wisteria has spread rapidly across lawns, fences, and wooded areas in our community. The foreign vines, introduced for beauty in the 1800s, now harm trees and reduce habitat for local wildlife + experts advise planting native alternatives. WPDE

- ➤ North Myrtle Beach City Council held a workshop on Wed, Mar. 25 to plan moving a Chick-fil-A from its current spot at Gator Hole Plaza to the former TGI Friday building (traffic concerns remain). The council will review refined proposals at the next meeting on Monday, Apr. 6. My Horry News
- ➤ State forestry officials announced a statewide outdoor burning ban effective at 4 p.m. today due to dangerous wildfire conditions as low humidity, dry vegetation and gusty winds raise fire risks (cooking fires and approved enclosures are exempt) in every county. - ➤ Tidelands Health now uses a Caring Cradle device that gently cools and preserves a baby’s body after a stillbirth, giving grieving families up to two extra days to create memories — donated by Fuzzy Lake and his wife Joyce to enhance care at the hospital. WPDE
