About this event
A time to pause. A time to be grateful. A time for YOU. 🤍
We've heard it hundreds of times, but it's true…
You have to take care of yourself first so you have the energy to take care of everything—and everyone—else.
Self-care is not selfish.
What if you made Thanksgiving about YOU, too?
Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday!
When I was little, we spent Thanksgiving with my Nana, and we ate… and ate… and ate! 😂 As I grew up, life became a little more hectic, but we still made time to gather at Nana's house, eat good food, laugh, and be together.
Since moving to South Carolina, things have changed a bit—and we've decided to share that change with others.
So, for Thanksgiving, we open Simply-Helping Retreats and invite you to spend four days slowing down, reconnecting, reflecting on what you're grateful for, and enjoying a whole lot of good food along the way!
You don't have to cook.
You don't have to host.
You don't have to worry about everyone else's Thanksgiving.
Just come, exhale, and let us take care of you for a few days.
A Thanksgiving Retreat With a Difference
This retreat is about more than yoga.
You'll have opportunities to experience nourishing meals, gentle yoga and meditation, wellness and creative activities, time in nature, beach time (weather and guest interest permitting), and beginner/play aerial yoga if you'd like to give it a try.
But the heart of a Simply-Helping Retreat is the healing circles.
During our healing circles, I use my intuitive gifts and healing modalities to share messages and insights that come through for the group and individual guests.
These experiences are intended to help you slow down, reconnect with yourself, release what you're ready to let go of, and move forward with a deeper connection to your own truth and inner wisdom.
We also use gentle yoga and movement to help bring awareness back into the body and create space to release stagnant energy. Whether you're brand new to yoga or have practiced for years, the movement can be adapted so you can participate comfortably—in or out of the aerial swing.
And yes… Shavasana is definitely part of the plan. 😉
You Get to Choose Your Experience
One of the things I love most about our retreats is that nothing is about pressure or perfection.
Participate as much or as little as you'd like.
Join the group activities.
Spend time by yourself.
Sit outside in nature.
Read a book.
Journal.
Walk on the beach.
Take a nap.
Snuggle one of our fur babies. 🐾
Laugh until your cheeks hurt.
You get to choose what you need.
We'll also take time to look at what is already good in your life, practice gratitude, and set clear intentions for what you want to create and experience moving forward.
The tools and techniques we share aren't meant to stay at the retreat.
My goal is to give you simple practices you can continue using when you go home—because the real magic is being able to support yourself in your everyday L.Y.F.E.
What One Thanksgiving Guest Had to Say…
"I arrived a bit nervous and was greeted so warmly that any apprehension quickly dissolved. Holly's home is very well suited for a retreat. There was a good bit of stretching and yoga, but that wasn't all. Presentations and activities that were all geared toward spiritual and physical well-being were also included, although nothing was mandatory."
"Holly requested information on any dietary needs or preferences, so the delicious home cooked meals were tailored to each individual with alternative options served."
"I would highly recommend this retreat. I hope that I have another opportunity to attend. Thank you Holly for providing a place that made me feel safe, nurtured, and relaxed."
And That's Exactly What I Hope You Experience.
A place where you can feel safe.
Feel nurtured.
Feel relaxed.
Feel connected.
And just be yourself.
When you're here, you're family.
So… Are You Ready to Control-Alt-Delete This Thanksgiving?
Instead of rushing through the holiday season, give yourself permission to pause.
Let's reflect on what you're grateful for, release what you're ready to leave behind, set intentions for what you want next, laugh, eat, move, relax, heal, connect—and maybe even do a little aerial yoga!
Take four days for YOU.
Come home from Thanksgiving feeling lighter, refreshed, reconnected, and ready to step into your next chapter.
Let's set your intention for an AMAZING 2028! ✨
